Safety briefing flying with kids

Anytime you fly with passengers, especially flying with kids, it’s critical to give an informative and easy to understand safety brief. This is especially important when flying with younger passengers.

It’s school holidays here in Melbourne so I took my daughter flying for the morning.

We shot a video of some of the parts of the safety briefing that I include when flying with passengers. This includes getting the passengers to put their seat belts on so they know how to do that, and then unbuckle and exit the aircraft so they’re familiar with evacuating in the event of an emergency.

When you’re flying with kids it’s also really important to keep them occupied, so my daughter and I made up a spotting game to try and find 5 key landmarks around Melbourne City as we flew a few orbits.
