I noticed that United Airlines at Chicago O’Hare Airport have display screens at each gate to show available seats on flights for passengers looking to get on at the last minute.
The screens also showed the standby list, first class upgrades and
weather at the destination.
This was for flight UA686 Chicago to New York La Guardia.
