The Plaza Premium Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 is located near the C departure gates. For this trip, I am flying an airline with which I don’t have any status and so I’m taking advantage of the complimentary PriorityPass card that came with my credit card.
Lounge and Facilities
The lounge itself looks quite new and it’s very spacious and well designed with a seated area facing the tarmac.
There are adequate shower facilities for those in transit, private working stations and all chairs come with international power plugs with separate USB ports, so adaptors are not required.
Food and drinks
The food offering is quite basic. I am here in the morning and there are cold cuts, noodles, yoghurt, simple pastries, 2 types of soups, whole fruit and cereal. There is coffee available from a self-serve machine, however after my first sip I decided to skip coffee and get a juice instead.
I originally tried to visit the SATS lounge next to the Qantas Lounge, however it was full and so I was recommended to come here. I had been to the SATS lounge before and I should be thanking the lady at the desk who told me to visit this lounge as this lounge is much nicer inside. If you just need somewhere clean with good facilities to wait, then this lounge is ideal. Just don’t come expecting great food and drinks as otherwise you will be disappointed.
